SNEAKER WATCH: Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Shooting Stars All-Star PE

With the 2012 NBA All-Star Game taking place in Orlando, Penny Hardaway called in a favor to NSW designer Mark Dolce (who designed the Zoom Rookie) for a special 1-of-1 PE. The design was inspired by Penny’s celebrated tenure with the Orlando Magic, and with Penny partaking in some of the All-Star Weekend festivities, he needed some Foamposites to fit the occasion. Here’s a look at the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Shooting Stars’ All-Star PE; it features a white Foamposite upper reminiscent of one ofPenny’s legendary OG Player Exclusives, but with a unique star detailing on the black lace placket. The interior is lined with royal blue, with special insoles that read ‘Ballin is what I was born to do’ and a sick ‘Penny’ logo inspired by the classic Orlando Magic logo. The translucent outsole also gives way to additional star detailing embedded on the bottom of the outsole. Credit: Sneakernews
