According to reports, Rihanna replaces Britney Spears as the front runner for one of the vacant spot on the show after negotiations with Spears broke down.
If Rihanna signs the deal, she will reportedly rake in a whopping $20 million.
Former judges Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Doll and Paula Abdul left the show after the first season in the United States. Since then there has been a long list of contenders rumored to be in talks for the spots including Beyonce, Fergie, Britney Spears and Janet Jackson.
