VIDEO: Iggy Azalea Speaks On "Fanning Out" When She Met 50 Cent, Female Rappers Expressing Their Sexuality, Whitney Houston's Death & Wanting To Work With Missy Elliot

Iggy Azalea has literally come a long way. From being a fan of hip hop in her nativeAustralia to moving to America, signing a record deal with Interscope and becoming the first female to land on XXL's Freshman Class cover.

It doesn't happen often, but she occasionally meets a rapper and finds herself having a "fan" moment. The last time it happened was when she met 50 Cent in the offices of Interscope recently. She recalled the moment in an interview with GoodFellaRadio.

"I didn't think I would honestly [have a fan moment, but as a teenager you gotta think like 2003 was probably one of 50 Cent's biggest years and I saw him in concert. That was the first rap concert I ever went to," she said. "I've never really fanned out before. I'll always see people that I love and be like, 'I respect you music and I'm a fan.' But it's never like 'ahhhhh' But I was like 'It's 50 Cent, holy sh*t I've gotta say something. I'm gonna tell him!' Because that was my first ever experience that I felt like 'Oh this is hip hop in my face, not on a screen.' And it was 50 Cent. And it was cool. It was 50 Cent."

Iggy goes on to talk about women being able to express themselves sexually in music, signing with Interscope, Whitney Houston's death. She also expresses an interest in wanting to work with Missy Elliot and Ester Dean.
