MOVIE NEWS: The Avengers are Coming!

If you are a big movie buff/comic fan like me you probably can't wait to get your hands and eyes on this one! Sure to be action packed of course, but sources say the plot should be interesting with the super-sized egos of Hulk, Iron Man and Thor often clashing. Catch me at your local cinema with my 3D glasses on for this one!

ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: Popcaan collaborates with Snoop Dogg

Popcaan has joined forces with American rap superstar, Snoop Dogg for a new Reggae-themed single which will soon be released
Breakthrough Dancehall superstar, Popcaan continues to add to his international resume as he’s reportedly landed another collaboration with a prominent American rapper.
On February 17, Popcaan released the official remix of his number one hit, Only Man She Want, which featured internationally acclaimed Jamaican-American rapper, Busta Rhymes.

The song, which was unveiled via iTunes, has also earned over 50,000 YouTube views since its debut nearly two weeks ago; earning the Portmore Empire deejay strong acclaim locally and overseas.
Now, media reports have confirmed that Popcaan has joined forces with veteran hip-hop superstar, Snoop Dogg, who’s currently in Jamaica recording material for his upcoming studio album, Reincarnated as well as filming a documentary about the Rastafari Movement in Jamaica.
According to reports, the self-proclaimed ‘Gaza Prefect’ recorded a Reggae song alongside Snoop Dogg after the two artistes met at Geejam Studios in Portland.

ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: VYBZ KARTEL GETS BAIL… ON GANJA CHARGE

Vybz Kartel was offered bail in the sum of $40,000.00JA dollars with one or two sureties in the matter involving ganja possession.
The dancehall deejay, who will remain in custody, is also expected to surrender his travel documents.

Last year police raided a hotel in New Kingston and arrested Kartel on three other persons who were in his compnay. The cops were hunting for Kartel in relation to the murder of Barrington ‘Bossie’ Bryan who was shot and killed while in the company of other persons in Gregory Park, St Catherine last year. During a search of the room Kartel occupied, the cops found a small quantity of ganja.

kartel, whose real name is Adijah Palmer, pled not guilty to a ganja possession charge and the matter was sent to trial.

The trial will resume on March 14.

Meanwhile the other charges of murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of a firearm are still pending.
