15 Condom Mistakes You’re Probably Making And You Don’t Know It!
There are 15 common mistakes that men tend to do when it comes to condoms. It’s importantly to properly use a condom because not using it properly is like not using it at all. Read these 15 mistakes to learn to wrap it up the right way!
1. Late application
Across the numerous studies, between 17 percent and 51.1 percent of people reported putting a condom on after intercourse has already begun. (Which doesn’t quite cut it when it comes to STD prevention.)2. Early removal
Between 13.6 percent and 44.7 percent of the respondents reported removing the condom before intercourse was complete. (We’ll take “defeating the point” for 1,000, Alex.)3. Completely unrolling the condom prior to application
Between 2.1 percent and 25.3 percent of people admitted to completely unrolling the condom before sliding it on. How does that even work?4. No space at the tip
Failing to leave space for semen at the tip of the condom was reported by 24.3 to 45.7 percent of the respondents.5. Failure to remove air
When looking back to their last sexual encounter, 48.1 percent of women and 41.6 percent of men reported that they didn’t squeeze the air from the tip before use.6. Inside-out condoms
Between 4 percent and 30.4 percent of participants reported they began rolling the condom on inside out, but then flipped it over and continued its use. And that’s bad, since it can expose her to your pre-ejaculatory fluids, which can get her pregnant. (Nope, that wasn’t just a lie your gym teacher told you.)7. Failure to completely unroll the condom before use
When looking back to their last sexual encounter, 11.2 percent of women and 8.8 percent of men had began intercourse before the condom was unrolled all the way.8. Exposure to sharp object
Between 2.1 percent and 11.2 percent of people had opened condom packets with sharp objects. The problem: If it’s sharp enough to rip the wrapper, it’s sharp enough to rip the condom. Duh.9. Failure to check for damage
When removing the condom from the package, 82.7 percent of women and 74.5 percent of men reported that they fail to check for damage before use. What to look for: Make sure the wrapper isn’t worn down or ripped open, keep your eyes peeled for expired dates, and check for visible imperfections while unrolling.10. No lubrication
Between 16 percent and 25.8 percent of people reported using condoms without lubrication. The trouble? If you’re having sex for an extended period of time, the condom is more likely to tear without lubrication. (Check out our tips for outstanding lube play.)11. Lubrication complications
Roughly 3.2 percent of women and 4.7 percent of men reported using an oil-based lube with a latex condom. That weakens the latex, which can make it prone to breakage.12. Incorrect withdrawal
Nearly 31 percent of men and 27 percent of women reported that (post-sex) they failed to promptly and properly withdraw after ejaculation. No matter what the Cranberries sang, guys, this ain’t a time to let it linger.13. Reusing a condom
Between 1.4 percent and 3.3 percent of people reported reusing a condom at least twice during a sexual encounter. Gross.14. Incorrect storage
Between 3.3 percent and 19.1 percent of people in the studies had stored their condoms in conditions that did not comply with the recommendations on the package. Avoid storing them in direct sunlight or your wallet—both can degrade the latex.15. Not wearing one at all
This wasn’t actually part of the study, but we should add that #15 is this: Not using one at all. According to the (most recent) National Survey of Sexual Health and Behavior, only 45 percent of men ages 18 to 24 used a condom with their last sexual partner. And as the age groups increased, the stats only got worse: Only 29.3 percent of men ages 25 to 34 used condoms and 21.3 percent of men between ages 35 and 44.

ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: VYBZ KARTEL GETS BAIL… ON GANJA CHARGE
The dancehall deejay, who will remain in custody, is also expected to surrender his travel documents.
Last year police raided a hotel in New Kingston and
arrested Kartel on three other persons who were in his compnay. The cops
were hunting for Kartel in relation to the murder of Barrington
‘Bossie’ Bryan who was shot and killed while in the company of other
persons in Gregory Park, St Catherine last year. During a search of the room Kartel occupied, the cops found a small quantity of ganja.
kartel, whose real name is Adijah Palmer, pled not guilty to a ganja possession charge and the matter was sent to trial.

Popcaan is a breath of fresh air in an industry that is currently choking on the smog coming out of its speakers. Popcaan’s high-pitched high energy lyrics and delivery, creative slang, and catchy singles bring a wave of Dancehall hope into the overseas market, where “Ravin” and “Only Man She Want” have been gaining spins on urban radio.
Last night, Chromatic Sound unveiled Yiy Change, a 38-track mixtape of Popcaan’s latest singles, freestyles, and remixes that should satisfy the masses that have been waiting rather impatiently over the past year for Popcaan to drop a full-length album.
Yiy Change is kind of predictable, but extremely entertaining all the same. Off-the-cuff interludes from Popcaan, Vybz Kartel, and their cast of quirky Gaza affiliates (my favorite is the Track 34 ‘mad rass’ interlude, and all of the commentary from the “quick quick quick” dude), a guest appearance from his lyrically ill Portmore Empire breddrin Tommy
Lee, and some surprising lyrical gems make Yiy Change worth the storage space on my hardrive.
Popcaan’s freestyle over Wiz Khalifa’s and Snoop Dogg’s “Young, Wild, and Free” beat wards off the badmind and haters from the jump on Yiy Change’s sing-songy first track.“Pagans hate me so muuuuch/still me love dem baaaad…”
Track 5 (I am bit more than a bit peeved that none of the tracks were labeled…wait, did I type that outloud?) finds Popcaan chanting “dem know mi head mad/so mi tan bad/so mi tan bad” over Black Solidarity’s 1987 Mud Up Riddim. It’s refreshing to hear Popcaan deejay over Mud Up, and the Answer Riddim in Track #9, as opposed to the typical watered down American pop beat with a slight hint of Dancehall that most producers are using these days…
…but I digress…
Track 7 features Tommy Lee’s bizarre vocal style over Rookie Productions’ 2001 Superstar Riddim (made famous by Spragga Benz’ and Lady Saw’s “Back Shot Mi Love”).
Tommy Lee’s razor sharp lyrics and peculiar deliver make this track both fun and wicked to listen to.“Ain’t no other/lyrical bomber/explosive rhyme we a drop pon da’ one yah…” I’ve got to keep my eye and ear on Tommy Lee…
Popcaan flows seamlessly with rapper Ace Hood and an unidentified rapper on Track 11. Surprisingly, this is one of the better unofficial “Hustle Hard” remixes I’ve heard to date. “Born Bad” over rapper Meek Mills’ “House Party” beat is another one of Yiy Change’s standout tracks, as is Popcaan’s humorous American-esque freestyle on Drake’s “Motto” beat.
“Party Shot,” “We Nuh Fraid a People,” “Only Man She Want,” “Back It Up,” “Naughty Girl” and a few more of Popcaan’s recently released tracks round out the rest of Yiy Change. Overall,Yiy Change isn’t groundbreaking, earth-shattering or stellar, but it is a great representation of Popcaan – lyrically lively, energetic, versatile, and colorful.

GRAMMYS UPDATE: Chris Brown wins R&B album
Brown’s personal narrative following his 2009 felony assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna has been a mixed bag, at best. He spent much of 2010 seeking redemption and the greater part of last year making numerous missteps in the media, including Twitter rants, garnering criticism from GLAAD, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation; a violent meltdown backstage at “Good Morning America”; and the leak of a nude photo.
His fourth album, 2011’s “F.A.M.E.” -- an acronym for both “Fans Are My Everything” and “Forgiving All My Enemies” –- helped bolster his comeback after the critical disappointment of 2009’s “Graffiti,” his first release following the assault.
The disc was his first to debut at No. 1, and with Grammy-nominated singles “Deuces” and “Look at Me Now” (the latter up for two rap nods this year) and a slate of sexually explicit grooves and supercharged backbeats, "F.A.M.E." returned Brown to radio prominence.
Brown competed against another pair of comeback kings, El DeBarge and R. Kelly, with soulful songstresses Ledisi and Kelly Price also in the field. Last year the award went to John Legend and the Roots’ collaborative album of brawny R&B/soul classics, “Wake Up!”
Despite nominations in five of the last six years, Brown hadn’t taken home a trophy until tonight.
After the Recording Academy eliminated 31 award categories, much of the grousing came from R&B purists. R&B categories were cut from eight to four by the new rules and there were complaints that there was now little or no distinction between contemporary and traditional R&B.
GRAMMY UPDATE: Rihanna Turns Grammy Stage Into A Rave, With Coldplay Assist

Sprawled out on the floor under a red light and accompanied at first by just a piano, Rihanna hit the stage at the 54th Grammy Awards for a dance-heavy take on her massive #1 hit "We Found Love."The performance kicked off like a scene straight out of the thematically dark video for the track, with the Barbadian pop star leaning against a wall looking troubled under dark lighting with only a piano playing alongside her as she sang the track like a torch ballad. Looking gorgeous — and giving off a Tina Turner vibe — Rihanna rocked the blond locks she introduced recently, wearing a tight, belly-baring ensemble.
The laser lights, LED screens and synths kicked up soon enough, though, and Rihanna welcomed dancers to the stage and lit into a high-energy performance of the dance smash that kept with the feel of the song, devolving into a full-on rave, with the pop star front and center.
Like many other performers and presenters at the show, Rihanna took a moment to honor the late Whitney Houston, demanding the audience, "Make some noise for Whitney!"
Soon, the tempo backed down and the dancers departed, leaving Rihanna onstage with just Chris Martin strumming an acoustic guitar. The pair then started into the televised debut of their Mylo Xyloto collaboration "Princess of China."
"Her bit on our record is my favorite bit. When the song came out, it sort of asked for her to be on it," Chris Martin told MTV News of the pop princess' involvement last fall. "And I think at this point, we have nothing to lose, and so we've been trying some new things and trying to break down the perceived boundaries between different types of music."
Coldplay finished things up on an upbeat not with their song "Paradise."
GRAMMY UPDATE: Jay Z + Kanye West Win 2012 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance
Jay-Z and Kanye West nabbed the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance for ‘Otis’ from their blazing hot ‘Watch the Throne’ collaborative album, which dropped in the summer. Sadly, neither the Hova or Yeezy were in attendance to collect their statues at the ceremony, so presenters Fergie and Marc Anthony graciously accepted on their behalf.
So that was a bit of anti-climactic speech, since both rappers always make a splash and are consummate entertainers, even at awards shows; Fergie and Anthony didn’t have much to say since, well, it’s not their song or their award!
However, Fergie’s red lace peek-a-boo outfit did not go unnoticed. The singer’s black bra was fully visible in her see-through attire. That provided a little excitement to make up for the fact that Jay and ‘Ye weren’t there. Her choice of clothes will certainly be talked about tomorrow in fashion columns and roundups, that’s for sure.
Congrats to Blue Ivy‘s father and Kanye West on their big win at the 2012 Grammy Awards.
