The dancehall deejay, who will remain in custody, is also expected to surrender his travel documents.
Last year police raided a hotel in New Kingston and
arrested Kartel on three other persons who were in his compnay. The cops
were hunting for Kartel in relation to the murder of Barrington
‘Bossie’ Bryan who was shot and killed while in the company of other
persons in Gregory Park, St Catherine last year. During a search of the room Kartel occupied, the cops found a small quantity of ganja.
kartel, whose real name is Adijah Palmer, pled not guilty to a ganja possession charge and the matter was sent to trial.
