LOS ANGELES — Thriller, a tiger that belonged to Michael Jackson when the entertainer lived at Neverland, has died of lung cancer at Tippi Hedren’s wildlife preserve near Los Angeles.Hedren says the 13-year-old, 375-pound tiger died June 11. An autopsy was performed and the tiger was cremated.Hedren says Thriller and brother Sabu were born in 1998 and lived with Jackson until 2006 when Jackson left Neverland. Jackson’s veterinarian asked Hedren to take the cats at her Shambala Preserve in Acton. She says a $79,000 compound was built on a lake and Thriller had a great life with Sabu.Despite Jackson’s love of animals, Hedren says he never called to check on the tigers and never sent any money to help pay for their care.Jackson died in June 2009.

NEWS: Jimmy Henchman Admits To Setting Up Tupac Shooting
After being indicted of murder charges on Friday, former music mogul Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond has begun singing like a canary! Jimmy’s associate had already came out about a year ago admitting to actually committing the shooting of Tupac Shakur (the original one in Quad Studios, not the one that ultimately led to his death), and now Jimmy is pretty much backing up his claim. Details below.
“Rosemond secretly admitted to involvement in Tupac’s ambush during one of nine “Queen For A Day” proffer sessions with the government last autumn, court transcripts show. (In such sessions, suspects under investigation choose to enter an agreement with the government to confess knowledge of certain crimes with the agreement that the information won’t be used to prosecute them.) His confession unfolded as he was trying to carve out a cooperation deal that might lead to a reduced sentence, according to federal prosecutors. Rosemond apparently came clean about his involvement in Tupac’s ambush shortly after his former best friend, Dexter Isaac, stepped forward last summer to publicly confess that he had led the attack on Shakur in 1994. SPORTS: NBA- Clippers Eye Lamar Odom
The Los Angeles Clippers have engaged in trade discussions to bring Lamar Odom back to the L.A. team that drafted him, according to sources close to the situation.
Yet the deal, sources said, could hinge on the willingness of a third team to take on the contract of Clippers veteran guard Mo Williams, which would allow the Dallas Mavericks to send Odom to the Clippers with no significant money coming back to the Mavericks.
With a Friday deadline looming for the Mavericks to buy out the final year of Odom’s contract for $2.4 million, Dallas officials have green-lighted Odom’s agent, Jeff Schwartz, to try to find a new home for Odom this week via trade. The Mavericks and Schwartz also have discussed pushing the deadline back into July if an Odom trade can’t be struck before Friday.
The Mavericks’ interest in an Odom deal, though, is purely to gain financial flexibility, which likely necessitates a third team to take on Williams. If no trade can be struck, either this week or before an adjusted deadline, Dallas is expected to eventually buy Odom out and make him a free agent, with big-market teams such as Miami and New York also planning to pursue him in that scenario.
Although Williams is a former All-Star and still a valuable contributor at 29, Dallas has little need for him given its long-planned pursuits of marquee free agents Deron Williams and Steve Nashand its oft-stated desire to bring back championship-winning point guard Jason Kidd when free agency starts at 12:01 a.m. Sunday.
The Mavericks are one of two finalists, along with the Brooklyn Nets, for Dallas-area native Deron Williams and have long planned to pursue the re-signing of Nash — who left Dallas for Phoenix in the summer of 2004 — in the event Deron Williams decides to stay with the Nets.
Mo Williams has maintained all season that he plans to exercise his $8.5 million player option for the 2012-13 season despite the fact the Clippers haveChris Paul and promising youngster Eric Bledsoe at point guard, and want to bring back veteran guard Chauncey Billups, even after the 35-year-old suffered a season-ending Achilles injury.
Yet it remains to be seen whether Mo Williams will hold to that stance. He has until June 30 to make that decision and his agent, Mark Bartelstein, recently told ESPNLosAngeles.com that he and the Clippers were “kind of exploring everything” to find the best solution.
“Mo’s a professional and I think he showed that last season,” Bartelstein said. “He had a great year under difficult circumstances. That said, he’s a starting point guard. He’s an All-Star starting point guard. So we’ll look at everything and see what makes sense.”
Sources told ESPN.com on Tuesday that one team to express interest in Williams is the Los Angeles Lakers, who still have a trade exception big enough to absorb Williams’ contract that they created when they dealt Odom to Dallas.
Odom, meanwhile, is eager to return to his adopted home of Los Angeles to resume his career after what amounts to a lost season after his trade from the Lakers to the Mavericks in December.
The move to Dallas followed Odom’s inclusion in the Lakers’ original three-team trade with New Orleans and Houston that would have landed him with the Hornets and placed Paul in the same Lakers backcourt as Kobe Bryant. But that trade was called off by NBA commissioner David Stern, who has insisted he took that step as the Hornets’ lead decision-maker at the time because the Hornets were owned by the league. A few days later, Stern signed off on the Hornets’ deal to send Paul to the Clippers.
Drafted by the Clippers in 1999 and a winner of two championship rings in the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons with the Lakers, Odom never fit with the Mavericks and left the team by mutual consent before the playoffs began after a nightmarish three months.
Odom has been working out on his own ever since and will attempt to earn a spot on the team bound for the London Olympics next month when he reports to Team USA training camp in Las Vegas.
Yet it remains to be seen whether the Clippers are prepared to push the deal through. In addition to finding a third team, they’ll have to be convinced that Odom is indeed poised for a return to his Lakers form and also bury any lingering dismay from Odom’s departure from the Clippers in the summer of 2003, when, as a restricted free agent, he issued a series of public pleas to owner Donald Sterling to be set free to join the Miami Heat after Miami signed him to an offer sheet.

Yo, I can’t keep track of this mess! About 20 minutes ago, I told you how Drake and Rihanna chimed in on the Twitter beef going on between Chris Brown and Meek Mill over RiRi. The back story here if you’re too lazy to click links: Chris and Rihanna seemed like they were on a track to rekindling their flame, but apparently Meek was one of the [many] people she had some fun with during this time. Chris had apparently just done a song with Meek and was offended that he’d break guy code and smash his ex, so he took him off the song and blasted his ex in a freestyle. This happened a few weeks back (followed by drama between Chris and Rih), and for whatever reason (perhaps because he saw Ri over the weekend) Meek took to his Twitter on Sunday to get at Chris about it, subliminally. Chris caught wind, said something back. The next day (today), Drake chimed in….who now as we can see by the pics has been back with Rihanna too. But his tweets called her a hoe! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!!!!! LOL, is Rihanna the best box ever that she has them going nuts OR the easiest box in the world that they enjoy playing her like a fiddle, publicly? Oh and not to mention, Drake posted a pic of him and Meek partying it up on his Instagram just a little while ago. This is just, messy. LOL! Check out the pics below.

INDUSTRY TALK: One of the Realest Songs in Hip Hop....In a Long, Long Time
MY INSPIRATION TO MAKE RAP BEATS
Nasir Jones: one of my favourite hip hop artists and arguably on the list of the top 5 MCs of all time. April 19, 1994 was Illmatic's release date and also the date that changed hip hop music for me forever. It was my first time hearing an MC say the things Nas was saying in the way they were being said. Blew my mind. That album influenced my writing and rapping to step up exponentially. Then of course, the beats. Blew my mind again. From "New York State of Mind" to the Q-Tip produced "One Love", It felt as though the culture itself pour its energy into and possessed Nas and his producers during the time this album was being created. I had no choice but to make beats and try to make them as sick as what I was hearing. Of course back then there was no one to buy beats online and as a matter of fact I didn't even know too much about the internet then, or computers for that matter. Music like that is why I am a producer to this day. Some call it "real hip hop" but I'd rather not suggest that newer hip hop is any less real since most young artists who are presently in the game, some of you even buy beats online at my site, are in this present era and honestly you're doing your ting well. I'd prefer to say that songs which define the overall feeling of the culture are the songs that continue to inspire me to make rap beats.
INSPIRATION: THIS IS WHY YOU BUY BEATS

"Daughters" is simply Nas showing us his life as a father and the trials and joys of raising a girl, not only in this society, but raising a girl as a single black man with his own skeletons, and raising a girl as, Nas, the superstar MC. This song is pure inspiration on a number of levels. To those of you who have daughters it is bound to make you contemplate your own relationships with them. To the artists reading this, just listening to the beat, Nas' flow and lyrics are sure to send you runnig for your rhyme book (or tablet, laptop, Blackberry, iPhone or Android), or to tho studio to empty out all the creative juices that come bubbling to the rim. To you guys, this is why you need original rap beats. This is why you've always yearned to be the best MC ever. This is why you buy beats online, and thus, this is why I do what I do. Woman Killed Her Boyfriend For Buying Her A Cheap Mother’s Day Gift!

Evetta Wright said she was puzzled when she got a call early Monday from her son. Not long before, around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, she’d dropped Clifton “JR” Barkin off at his house after taking him to Wal-Mart to buy flowers and a Mother’s Day card for Paige Parkerson, the mother of Barkin’s two small children. When she answered the phone, she said Parkerson was on the line. “Paige told me she killed JR, that he was dead,” Wright said through sobs. Wright said she sped back over to her son’s house, but it was too late. Barkin, 22, was stabbed several times and died just after midnight Monday in the backyard of his yellow rental house. Wright said she believes Parkerson expected a more expensive gift, such as jewelry.

Robert Gene White, a 67-year-old man, received several lap dances at a Texas strip club Friday night, and when it came time to pay, workers found him unresponsive, KVIA reported. A manager of the Red Parrot in El Paso says employees tried to perform CPR on him, but were unsuccessful. KTSM reported that White suffered a heart attack while being entertained by the dancers. El Paso Sheriff’s deputies told the station that there were no immediate signs of foul play, but the investigation is still open.

INDUSTRY TALK: Rihanna Gets Fast & Furious!
Fresh off her debut acting gig in the blockbuster flim, "Battleship", it seems Rihanna has been cast in the role as a villain in the upcoming "Fast & Furious 6". Apparently, our Bajan princess is unstoppable: She's been on top of the music world with hit after hit since 2005, she is a constantly a trendsetter in the fashion world and now, a movie star. If I was her, I would have taken the "red pill" too!
As a fellow Barbadian I just want to send nothing but blessings and support to Rihanna. Though some of us Bajans cry foul and openly disapprove of what some call raunchy behaviour, me I'm open minded and think she should just keep doing her. Not to mention the fact that since her music has taken on a much harder edge, I'm hoping I can get her to check out the rap beats I'm slingin' LOL!

Mavado’s career just got even bigger with the recent We The Best Music Group and Young Money & Cash Money Billionaires deal, which will see the two labels merge.
YMCMB head Birdman confirmed the signing earlier this week.
“I’d like to let the world know that Khaled’s brand, which is We the Best, is officially signed to YMCMB,” Birdman said.
Mavado’s manager, Julian Jones-Griffith, said they were told about the deal before Mavado became a part of Khaled’s We The Best Music imprint.
“Khaled’s deal with YMCMB has been in the pipeline for a long time, they are a family,” Jones-Griffith told the star. “Even his last album went through them and that huge single with Drake and Ross and Wayne, I’m On One, was through YMCMB. I was aware of the deal being negotiated before we signed with We The Best but it didn’t influence our decision either way. We put our faith in Khaled and what he can bring to the table and with or without YMCMB we still believe in him.”
Mavado said he expects the deal to affect his career in a positive light.
“It’s just more strength to the ting,” Mavado said. “The whole situation with us and Khaled has a family vibe to it so the family just got bigger and more powerful! I do expect it to affect me directly but only in a positive way.”
“As far as collabs with YMCMB artistes, that’s always been available. We have a great relationship with everyone at Cash Money already and we have already been recording with YMCMB acts, you soon hear them! With features, it’s always a case of when the time and record is right we reach out to them and vice-versa,” Mavado added.
